Australian Prime Minister John McEwen (1900-1980)

John McEwen (1900-1980) was a member of the Country Party of Australia and Prime Minister of Australia from 19 December 1967 to 10 January 1968. Following the sudden death of Prime Minister Harold Hold, McEwen became caretaker prime minister until the appointment of his successor, John Gorton.
